ICOMOS is an international organisation, which associates around 10 100 individual members from 153 countries around the world, from which 110 countries has its own National Committee. It networks experts and professionals in the field of conservation and preservation of cultural heritage such as architects, historians, archaeologists, art historians, geographers, anthropologists, engineers, lawyers and town planners.
Each National Committee organises its own recruitment for the new members. All the members must be qualified in the field of conservation, practicing the profession of architect, archaeologist, town planner, engineer, administrator of heritage, art historian or archivist. Polish National Committee associates around 200 highly qualified specialists in the fields related to preservation of cultural heritage directly or indirectly.
If you are a professional with outstanding achievements in the field of heritage preservation and heritage preservation, you may become a member of PKN ICOMOS.
How to apply:
To become a member of ICOMOS-Poland you need to be recommended by at least two ICOMOS members in the form of letter of recommendation. Application form should be submitted on the paper and send to ICOMOS-Poland address along with the proof of your scientific and/or academic achievements and two letters of recommendation attached.
